Operation Enabled is currently building its foundation around individuals with direct experience navigating disability-related systems and barriers. Our initial work focuses on identifying recurring patterns, conflicting standards, and structural failures that prevent safe, equal participation.
We are especially interested in hearing from individuals whose lived experience has included one or more of the following:
• Lifelong or long-term experience navigating disability-related barriers
• Direct experience within special education systems
• Firsthand knowledge of institutional accessibility failures in practice
• A willingness to think critically about disability law, policy, and systems
• A commitment to long-term structural reform rather than short-term solutions
These experiences provide valuable insight into how disability laws, policies, and institutions interact over the course of a lifetime.
